Indication
Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease and gastric ulcers in CKD patients. Used for gastroprotection in patients on multiple nephrology medications.
Mode of Action
Pantoprazole inhibits H+/K+ ATPase enzyme in gastric parietal cells, reducing gastric acid secretion and promoting healing of acid-related disorders.
